This portafilter basket was manufactured and designed with the barista in mind. I.M.S. designed the basket to improve a higher yield extraction, drawing more of the flavors and aromas out of the coffee and into your cup. The curved bottom of the basket aids in redirecting the coffee to the center of the basket to promote an even extraction and to prevent channeling. For even more precision, I.M.S. deliberately designed the hole size to guarantee you’re getting a smooth cup of coffee with great body.
